Insight Global is seeking a Production Support Engineer for an Equities Cash Execution platform, providing front-office technical and operational support in a fast-paced trading environment.
You will troubleshoot production issues, write SQL queries, and run Python scripts to analyze data and automate processes, collaborating with Sales, Trading, and technology teams to ensure platform stability and performance.
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of Production/Applications Support in trading or capital markets.
- Experience supporting Front Office trading applications.
- Knowledge of Equities Trading or Equities Cash workflows.
- Experience with incident management and ITIL processes.
- Strong SQL for production support and data analysis.
- Python scripting for automation.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for Equities Cash electronic trading platforms, ensuring stability and availability.
- Act as the first point of contact for order flow, trade processing, and connectivity issues touching traders and clients.
- Monitor production environments, investigate alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and drive resolution.
- Write SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and support operational reporting.
- Track incidents and changes through ServiceNow/Jira per ITIL guidelines.
