Job summary

NFI is seeking an Equipment Trainer to train and certify warehouse staff as qualified equipment operators. The role focuses on training delivery, testing (written and practical), and ensuring strict safety adherence in a high‑activity warehouse environment.

The trainer will certify operators on turret, reach, dock truck, and electric pallet jack, maintain training matrices, and lead safety initiatives, including OSHA training and audits.

Qualifications

• Must complete the equipment trainer certification and pass written and hands-on exams.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Certified on all equipment.
• Ability to speak in front of others and provide training daily.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment trainer and turret operator training course exams.
• Certify turret, reach, dock, pallet jack equipment.
• Maintain safe handling of equipment at all times and enforce guidelines.
• Lead OSHA training monthly and keep accurate records.
• Perform weekly facility safety evaluations and audits.
