Job summary

TSMC Washington is seeking a maintenance technician to repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance on complex electronic and mechanical systems. You will maintain logs, support the equipment team, and become certified on various tool types while collaborating with engineering and other departments to meet quality goals.

The role requires rigorous attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on-site in Camas, WA.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
  • Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
  • Become certified on a variety of tool types
  • Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
  • Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.

Requirements:

  • Maintenance and repair of complex electronic and mechanical systems.

  • Communication within your team and cooperation with MFG and Process to ensure no interruption to production

  • Multitasking and handling stressful environments with ability to juggle multiple items and requests.
  • Mechanical and equipment troubleshooting related experience encouraged: Automotive, Home Appliance Repair, Electrical work all accepted

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sitting.
  • Frequent coordinated use of hands.
  • Lift and or carry up to 56 pounds.
  • Pushing or pulling 66 pounds.
  • Occasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squat.

Work Location & Schedule:

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next. This position will potentially be for night shift.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position,the starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour.The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from$23.55 - $33.85depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.

Employees and their families are offered access to comprehensive coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, our wellbeing program, as well as basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

Additionally, employees can enroll in our 401(k) plan with an employer match and participate in the employee stock purchase program. Employees receive 12 recognized holidays per year and accrue 120 hours of paid time off annually their first year.

Onsite amenities include a fitness center, a game room, on-site physical therapist, and a subsidized café where meals cost as low as $6 a day!
