Job summary

TSMC Washington seeks Production Specialists to handle wafers in pods across the production floor in a cleanroom setting. This role requires wearing full cleanroom garments to protect wafers and performing tasks with safety as a priority during long 12-hour shifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 15 pounds, and work well in a fast-paced team. The schedule includes 4 days on/3 off and 3 days on/4 off across weeks with built-in overtime benefits.

Who We're Looking For:

TSMC Washington is recruiting Production Specialists to work on-site at our Camas, Washington location. As a Production Specialist you will be carrying wafers in small containers called pods throughout the production area to ensure production targets are met. You will be working in a clean room environment wearing clean room garments to protect the wafers from outside particles. Clean room garments include a full cleanroom suit, protective eyewear, gloves, hood, and a face mask. This is a physically demanding job requiring lifting, bending and long periods of standing and walking over a 12-hour shift. You could be walking up to 12 miles per shift.

Shifts:

TSMC Washington operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The shift structure is 4 days on/3 days off one week and 3 days on/4 days off the following week. Yep, that’s 3 or 4 days off every week! TSMC Washington also provides 2 hours of meals and breaks for each 12-hour shift.

Starting wage is $22.25 per hour. Wage below includes hourly starting wage with built in overtime and shift differential.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced team environment. Poduction environment is preferred (ex: fast food, restaurant, warehouse, manufacturing)

• Be a strong team player with a can-do attitude
• Good time management skills and able to adjust priorities as needed

• Have situational awareness and be safety conscious

• Must be able to detect and respond appropriately to safety cues, including visual postings and audible or signaled alarms within the work zone

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS:

• Starting base pay is $22.25. The salary range for this position is $19.35 - $26.15.

• $23.84 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for day shift.
• $27.66 is the average hourly wage with built-in overtime and shift differential for night shift.
