Job summary

TSMC Washington is hiring for an on-site maintenance role in Camas, WA. The technician will repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain logs.

The position emphasizes cross-team collaboration with engineering and other departments to meet manufacturing goals. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and experience with cleanroom environments, with opportunities for tool certifications

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures
• Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
• Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed
• Become certified on a variety of tool types
• Work with counterparts within engineering and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals
• Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures

Requirements

Work Location & Schedule

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level.

TSMC's total compensation package also includes profit sharing and incentive bonuses, tuition assistance, and accrue 120 hours of paid time off annually their first year.
