Job summary

TSMC Washington seeks a hands-on equipment technician to join our on-site team in Camas, WA. You will work closely with vendors, engineers, and tool owners to enhance area and tool performance, perform basic maintenance, and ensure accurate tool logs and status at shift transitions.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in electronics or related field, knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and other tool owners to improve area/tool performance.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and repairs according to equipment operating instructions.
• Provide accurate and detailed information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status at shift pass down.
• Certification on tools.
• Support the Thin Film - PVD area with other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Responsibilities Include

Work Location & Schedule

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $27.30 and $36.29 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $27.30 - $39.30 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
