Job summary

Plexus Corp in Neenah, Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Support specialist to help keep Plexus production running smoothly. You will provide comprehensive equipment support, perform proactive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement to minimize downtime and sustain high-quality output.

An Associate’s Degree with 2+ years’ related experience is preferred; equivalent combinations will be considered.

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

• Experience with manufacturing processes, documentation, and cross-discipline coordination is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes manufacturing solutions that meet customer requirements while establishing a technical specialty.
• Uses tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, and production processes.
• Demonstrates understanding of Plexus manufacturing processes and cross-discipline coordination.
• Works independently in line with good manufacturing practices and supports production operators.
• Shows comprehensive understanding of equipment, process control, safety, and risk awareness.
• Maintains setup awareness and operation familiarity within the role.

Salary Range: $46,200.00 - $69,200.00

Purpose Statement

To ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of Plexus's production by providing comprehensive support for equipment. Through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and a dedication to continuous learning, strive to minimize downtime, optimize performance, and contribute to the successful production of high-quality products.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
