Job summary

Spectrum Paint Company in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform maintenance and repair on spray equipment and related systems. This full-time role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and work with limited supervision to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Job description

The Equipment Technician is responsible for repairing and maintenance on spray equipment.

Store hours: Monday - Friday 7 am to 5 pm. Full Time Position

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repairs on Spray Equipment
  • Maintain inventory of spray parts
  • Ensuring that high customer service standards are maintained, and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone with questions/orders regarding equipment
  • Ensures the efficiency of all daily operational procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent customer service skills, on the phone and in person
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store/sales team
  • Knowledgeable of basic computer programs
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to operate with limited supervision and guidance
  • Should be mechanically inclined and have some mechanical experience (not necessarily on spray equipment, but preferred)
  • Small engine repair experience a plus

Candidates must be able to pass a background check and MVRcheck.

This job requires standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, and carrying the product to and from the delivery and customer vehicles and areas within the store.
