Summary: Spray Technician sprays weeds with pre/post emergent, sprays broadleaf weeds in turf, applies fertilizer, and performs specialty spray work as well. A Spray Technician follows all EPA guidelines and chemical handling practices and carries a current Spray License.
Reports to: Field Operations Manager

Operational Skills: Ability to operate a trencher, ability to drive a ¾ ton truck, or bigger, with a 18’ trailer hauling equipment. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Current NMDA Spray Operator/Technician license preferred but can get one during first month of employment if you don’t have one already.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
Work Environment: It is a professional environment working in the field alongside crews, as well as in a professional office setting. Often you will be working alone and therefore required to be self-motivated and self-starting to accomplish the job duties and responsibilities.
