Job summary

UGSI Chemical Feed, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technical Support Specialist in Vineland, NJ. This role focuses on remote technical support for cleanwater1 product lines, troubleshooting with customers, and coordinating with engineering and field services.

The candidate will document activities, assess customer needs, and drive part/service sales while maintaining strong customer relationships. On-site support is required periodically.

Qualifications

• Three or more years' experience with electromechanical equipment such as pumps and motors.
• Experience reading construction drawings, P&IDs, electrical one lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external technical support for cleanwater1 product lines.
• Maintain Salesforce service cases and document activities.
• Track customer interactions and warranty activity.
• Review and improve technical documentation (O&Ms, as-builts, troubleshoot guides).
• Develop troubleshooting strategies to improve efficiency and quality of support.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management and field services for installations and start-ups.
• Provide site-readiness evaluations and training.
• Evaluate product performance and advise on upgrades or repositioning.
• Record troubleshooting trends and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Travel to customer sites for training or complex jobs.
