Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking an Equipment Support II in Orlando. You will greet customers in the yard, stage equipment for deliveries, and ensure safe loads. You will maintain equipment flow and perform inventory, all while following safety policies and wearing PPE.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, physical activity, and strong communication. A positive customer service mindset and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service in construction or related field preferred.
Must be able to work outdoors in the elements and be physically active.
Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.
Must follow safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and 90 lbs occasionally with assistance.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in the yard.
Prepare and stage equipment for deliveries.
Maintain flow of equipment in/out of yard.
Hook up trailers and ensure loads are secured.
Instruct customers in safe equipment operation.
Review rental contracts for correct equipment.
Perform inventory and basic equipment maintenance.
Maintain a neat, safe work area daily.
