Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Finance Governance leader to oversee billing integrity and cost allocation across equipment operations. You will drive ERP-driven data reliability and ensure KPIs are met for project cost and execution, with travel to various sites as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cost-coding, accrual accounting, and advanced Excel, plus experience navigating ERP/Telematics platforms and leading a team toward measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred and/or combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, data cleaning) and the ability to navigate ERP and Telematics platforms at an expert level.
• Deep understanding of project cost-coding, accrual accounting, and the financial lifecycle of equipment utilization.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, advocate, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce standards for billing accuracy, accrual precision, and cost-coding compliance against Equipment Support KPIs.
• Provide strategic direction to the Equipment Support team, ensuring consistent execution across all projects and maintaining a high standard of service to field operations.
• Lead initiatives to improve data reliability within the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP).
• Partner cross functional departments or vendors to optimize Equipment processes.
• Oversee the month-end rental accrual process and insurance allocation, ensuring all equipment is accurately captured and allocated properly.
