Job summary

Mortenson, a leading builder, developer and EPC, offers an Equipment Solutions Intern position in its project teams. You will support equipment planning, procurement, and logistics, gaining exposure to software tools and vendor interactions while helping keep projects moving.

The summer program runs May–August 2027. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, solve real problems, stay organized, and develop professional skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four‑year degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related degree

Responsibilities

• Equipment Management – planning and procurement of equipment utilized during the construction process including processing equipment requests/transactions (internal and third‑party rentals), logistical coordination, and billing
• System/Software management – exposure to the various software used to manage equipment and process equipment rentals
• Procurement – assistance with receiving support, contract document management, and consumable purchasing
• Exposure to crane selection and sourcing, including sizing equipment, evaluating rental options, and soliciting vendor bids
• Exposure to equipment facility and construction field operations
