Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a motivated Equipment Solutions Intern to support our construction projects through equipment rentals and site services. You will work alongside project teams and partners to keep initiatives moving, communicating across teams, staying organized, and contributing ideas from day one.

Our summer internship (May – August 2027) provides hands-on experience, professional skill development, and a collaborative environment that values your growth and impact on real projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related degree.
• Demonstrates collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Management – planning and procurement of equipment used in construction projects.
• System/Software management – exposure to software used to manage equipment and rentals.
• Procurement – assistance with receiving support, contract documents, and consumables.
• Exposure to crane sizing, equipment sourcing, and vendor bid requests.
• Exposure to equipment facility and construction field operations.
