Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Houston, TX to support warehouse operations necessary for field service activities. You will inspect and receive goods, pack shipments, maintain records, and keep equipment and trailers in good working order to support reliable power system services.

You will coordinate repairs, operate a forklift, use SAP, and maintain calibration and tool readiness. The role emphasizes compliance with procedures and safe, organized, 5S warehouse practices.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States
• Assoc. degree + 2 yrs experience or HS diploma + 5 yrs experience required
• Forklift experience and SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods against shipment records
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment based on specs
• Record received and shipped items
• Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance and repairs
• Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, and insurance activities
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and coordinate repairs
• Support day-to-day operational activities and ensure policies followed
• Maintain equipment in organized 5S
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
