Job summary

This entry level maintenance role supports preventive and demand maintenance on production equipment during the MD Fill, A2 Night Shift: 6pm-6:30am Sunday/Monday/Tuesday and every other Saturday. The position offers a 15% differential for night work and serves as a stepping stone under Senior Technicians.

Candidates should have an HS diploma or relevant certificate and basic mechanical skills; formal technical training is a plus and growth into higher-level Technician roles is encouraged.

• Experience setting up production/manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Basic power tools use and measuring tools proficiency in industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 0+ years experience or relevant certificate; technical school preferred.

Job Description

This is our MD Fill, A2 Night Shift: 6pm-6:30am Sunday/Monday/Tuesday & every other Saturday

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.

Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up production/manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified
• Mechanical and electrical experience highly preferred
• Industrial machine repair and maintenance experience highly preferred
