Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to serve as a primary resource for preventive and demand maintenance within their current skill set. The role supports Senior Technicians and aims to develop into a higher-level Technician.

You will work on preventive and demand maintenance activities, supporting predictive maintenance, with vocational training to expand skills across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

Job Description

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
