Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician for the UD Fill facility on a 7am-7:30pm shift (Thu/Fri/Sat, plus every other Wednesday). The role supports preventive and demand maintenance while assisting senior technicians to develop multi-craft skills.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or related certificate, basic power tools experience, and willingness to obtain aseptic gown certification. Industrial maintenance knowledge is preferred. AbbVie offers an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or relevant certificate.
• Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Mechanical and electrical experience highly preferred.

• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations.
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

• This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
