Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to maintain equipment, respond to downtime, and troubleshoot root causes across robots, servo systems, electrical and hydraulic machinery.

You will interpret prints, complete work orders, support production lines, and assist with new equipment installations and modifications. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial or equivalent experience; 3

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two-year degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent equipment maintenance experience.
• Preferred 3 months of relevant experience.
• Problem analysis skills; robots, servo systems, electrical systems, automated machinery and mechanical systems; MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); time management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair robots, servo systems, electrical and hydraulic machinery.
• Interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic prints.
• Complete assigned work orders and support production to achieve line run rate efficiency.
• Document daily activity in the Equipment Management System (Maximo).
• Support weekend preventive maintenance, repairs, and plant shutdowns; assist with new equipment installations and modifications.
