Job summary

Honda in Ohio is seeking a qualified engineer/technician to support the PdM, RCA and ACM programs, driving asset uptime improvements through predictive maintenance and root-cause analysis.

Minimum qualifications include a BS or 2-year technical degree with 2+ years of manufacturing equipment experience, strong problem-solving, ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, and safety focus. This second-shift role may flex to other shifts and requires travel up to four times per year.

Qualifications

• BS or 2-year technical degree with experience in or equivalent engineering/maintenance
• 2+ years operating and recovering manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; strong problem solving
• Document thoughts and requirements clearly; work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Execute defined Predictive Maintenance (PDM) strategies and activities
• Implement new PdM technical strategies and activities
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CM development, and troubleshooting support
• Analyze CMMS PMs/CMs/BDMs to improve effectiveness and reduce breakdowns
• Identify Equipment Improvement Projects & Scope/Plan/Execute
• Collaborate regionally on PdM technology and best practices
• Develop capability through training and mentorship
