The position requires 3–5 years of shop/service management experience in construction equipment rental, plus solid leadership and communication skills. Salary ranges from $68,278 to $90,155 with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading others, either formally or informally.
• 3-5 years of management level experience in shop and service management, within the construction equipment rental industry is preferred.
• Previous service/maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the shop and field service mechanics, ensuring maintenance, repair, and availability of equipment as needed.
• Develop both strategic and tactical plans to achieve established goals effectively.
• Establish a partnership with Sales and Operations teams to coordinate timelines to fulfill rental contract obligations.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts across all service performance metrics.
• Guide the team in meeting performance, productivity, and efficiency standards.
• Establish clear responsibilities and streamlined processes for monitoring work and assessing outcomes.
• Ensure shop activities comply with safety regulations and provide safety training.
• Delegate and direct service tasks to technicians while monitoring progress.
• Exhibit engaged leadership through coaching and mentorship.
• Conduct interviews to identify top talent and assess skills and fit.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
• Oversee productivity and scheduling to optimize efficiency and analyze metrics.
• Audit records to ensure accuracy and quality in maintenance and repair.
