Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to cover our Northern New Jersey region. The role focuses on selling new and used equipment, rentals, and leasing while driving growth and building long-term customer relationships.

You will manage a high-velocity territory with daily calls, reporting, and planning. Strong communication, presentation, and a proactive, self-directed attitude are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis
• Four days in territory and one in-office day to build relationships
• Sell new and used material handling equipment and rental/lease agreements

Eastern Lift Truck Co. Equipment Sales Representative

Currently, we are seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to support our general Northern New Jersey region. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!

Main Duties:

Foster the sale new and used equipment, as well as the sale of rental agreements

Contribute to the team effort by meeting and exceeding sales goals

Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers

50+ "Touches" per day

Provide superior customer service

Prepare daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly & annual territory analysis

Requirements:

Prior experience in an Outside Sales role

High energy individual with a hunter mentality

Results oriented, self-starter able to work independently

Strong competitive drive

Ability to build long lasting relationships

Must possess unwavering customer service drive and focus

Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills

A Day in the Life:

This is a true Outside Sales Position, with four days physically out in your territory and one in-office day to build key important relationships at your branch to help you be successful out in the field. The performance and success of your territory will require you to establish new relationships within the territory, while maintaining and strengthening existing business. You will be responsible for the sale of new and used material handling equipment, as well as the rental and leasing agreements for our equipment.
