Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a proven Equipment Repair Technician to work on a Southeast Virginia project, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining motorized and mechanical construction, highway maintenance, grounds, and automotive equipment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL and DOT medical card, and technical training. Candidates should be flexible for 24/7 operations and emergency response, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Ability to obtain Class B CDL and DOT medical card within hire timeline.
• Refrigerant Recovery certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months.
• Virginia State Police Equipment Inspection License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• ASE certifications or equivalent highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain motorized and mechanical equipment across projects and locations.
• Perform safety inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare maintenance documentation, work orders, and keep accurate records.
• Operate various light to heavy-duty trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support emergency operations and be available for essential duties as required.
