Job summary

Riggs Cat is seeking a Rental Turnaround Technician in the Springdale area to perform high quality repair service on rental equipment and respond to customer needs quickly and professionally.

You will complete assigned tasks to standard times, follow safety policies, and manage paperwork and diagnostics to ensure equipment is ready for customers. Strong mechanical and tool knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires general knowledge of engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring devices and diagnostic software.
• Ability to provide accurate information to management for quoting and to obtain tooling.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-work metrics.
• Work safely and follow all Riggs safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Complete all assigned training in a timely and proficient manner.
• Support the Rental Operations process by evaluating needed quick repairs, fluid top-offs, and daily inspections of rental equipment returning from customer jobsites.
