Job summary

Imperial Dade in the Boston/Arlington, MA area is seeking a Service Repair Technician to service and repair commercial housekeeping equipment. Your schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00am-3:00pm, with potential overtime as needed.

You will service equipment such as carpet extractors and floor scrubbers, maintain records, manage parts and inventory, and demonstrate equipment to customers while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR preferred.
• Prior service, repair, and maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical and mechanical experience required.
• Experience with commercial housekeeping equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial housekeeping equipment (carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, vacuums).
• Build strong relationships with accounts and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain up-to-date service records.
• Purchase parts and supplies and track inventory.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Continually enhance industry and equipment knowledge.
• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.

The Service Repair Technician maintains and services housekeeping equipment purchased or leased by our customers.

You Will:

• Purchase parts and supplies and track inventory
• Properly demonstrate equipment to customers
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Continually enhance industry and equipment knowledge
• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures

You Have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• A valid driver's license and a clean MVR
• Prior service, repair, and maintenance experience
• Electrical and mechanical experience
• Experience with commercial housekeeping equipment
