Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of its exceptional service. You will assist customers, inspect equipment, and use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory at a U-Haul center.

The role includes hands-on duties like moving trucks, installing hitches, and conducting safety checks. Certification for propane and forklift is offered upon employment, with opportunities for advancement and paid holidays when eligible.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and handle returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane filling and forklift operations (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
