Job summary

Warren CAT in the United States is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist to provide operational support and ensure a positive rental experience for customers. You will coordinate rentals, prepare quotes, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete.

You will use WCAT rental software to create, edit, invoice, and close rental agreements, manage inventory, and help customers with safe equipment usage while upholding safety policies and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years in transportation industry or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and present information to groups.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with basic PC tools and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete rental transactions and coordinate pickup/delivery of units.
• Enter all required rental information accurately.
• Develop contracts and arrange transportation based on customer needs.
• Prepare rental quotes and collaborate with internal teams.
• Create, edit, invoice, and close rental agreements using WCAT rental software.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide safe usage guidance to customers and maintain service quality.
• Perform cold calls to prospective rental customers.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures.
