Job summary

Crownstone Equipment seeks an experienced Rental Specialist to lead the branch rental department. You will oversee rentals from booking to return, ensure equipment readiness, and collaborate with sales, service and parts teams to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue.

The role requires dealership or heavy equipment rental experience, strong problem-solving skills, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Safety and accuracy are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in equipment rental or related industry.
• Experience managing rental agreements and fleet utilization.
• Strong understanding of rental contracts, insurance requirements, and billing processes.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems, rental software, and MS Office.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily rental operations from reservation through return.
• Coordinate fleet availability with service, parts and yard staff.
• Ensure rental contracts, insurance docs, waivers and billing are accurate and compliant.
• Monitor fleet utilization and identify opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Build strong customer relationships with knowledgeable equipment recommendations.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while balancing policies.
