Job summary

Warren Cat in Texas seeks an Equipment Rental Specialist to support rental operations and ensure a smooth, positive customer experience. You will coordinate pickups and deliveries, process quotes, and collaborate across rental sales, transportation, credit, and service teams to finalize agreements.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking, with a focus on accurate paperwork and safety best practices. Travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years’ experience in transportation or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, customer service and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret general business material and regulations.
• Proficient in reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and customers.
• Strong math skills for discounts, rates, and invoicing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Complete rental transactions and coordinate pickup/delivery of units.
• Enter rental information accurately and develop contracts as needed.
• Consult with customers on rates, contracts, and transportation needs.
• Prepare rental quotes and collaborate with sales, credit, transport, and service teams.
• Create, edit, and close rental agreements using WCAT software.
• Track inventory, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper paperwork.
• Obtain credit PO requirements and collect COD or CAT accounts as needed.
• Instruct customers on safe equipment use and maintain customer satisfaction.
