Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and operation of machinery in a plastic injection molding facility. You will perform preventive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime, while prioritizing safety for yourself and the team.

Your work will cover inspection, repair of molding and processing equipment, and collaboration with maintenance and production teams to keep lines running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical training a plus).
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic system repair.
• Knowledge of injection molding, pneumatic conveying, chilled water systems, and grinders.
• Skilled in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus skills: read hydraulic schematics, welding, machining, lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and more.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
• Support engineering-led kaizen events and continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap and increase efficiency.
• Help manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate with contractors on upgrades.
• Respond quickly to issues to keep production moving.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to maintain safe, smooth operations.
