Scientific Protein Laboratories LLC, located just outside Madison in Waunakee, Wisconsin, seeks an Equipment Specialist to manage operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of critical manufacturing and utility equipment. You will support GMP-compliant operations and work with cross-functional teams to improve reliability.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration, with involvement in boilers, HVAC, and plant utilities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Minimum 3 years of maintenance or equipment support experience in manufacturing or pharma.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or HVAC systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Responsabilités

Perform routine inspections, startup activities, and operational checks on manufacturing and utility equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and identify issues requiring corrective action.
Troubleshoot and repair production support and utility equipment within skill level.
Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules and SOPs.
Assist with equipment calibration, adjustment, and testing to ensure proper operation.
Support maintenance and operation of plant utility systems, including boilers and HVAC.
