Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support onsite operations and safety initiatives. The role includes troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs of facilities infrastructure and production equipment.

You will assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and machinery upkeep, while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across the site. You'll work with the Safety Team to collect safety data, generate reports, and support training

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; trade certs in electrical/HVAC/plumbing valued.
• Valid driver's license preferred; ability to obtain required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily support for onsite operations, maintenance, and production equipment.
• Perform diagnostics, clean, lubricate, and minor maintenance tasks.
• Assist with installation and repair of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and vacuum systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment, use hand tools and lifts safely.
• Monitor safety/quality standards and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with Safety Team and others to report safety data and trends.
• Drive company vehicle locally when required (non-DOT).
• Maintain confidentiality and security of documents and records.
