Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Maintenance Engineer to drive reliability improvements for steelmaking equipment and facilities. You will minimize downtime and enhance efficiency through predictive and preventative maintenance programs at the plant location.

Responsibilities include CMMS analysis, RCAs, and collaboration with engineering for reliable new installations. Travel to other USAP sites may be required to standardize best practices.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably steelmaking.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance is desired.
• IBM Maximo EAM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Access and search CMMS (Maximo) and equipment databases regularly.
• Analyze and update engineering standards based on failure data and lessons learned.
• Work independently on special initiatives under supervision.
• Lead or participate in Equipment Criticality Assessments, Spare Analyses, and RCAs/FMEAs.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and design improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure reliability of new/modified installations.
• Occasionally travel to other USAP sites to share best practices.
