Job summary

AMSOIL INC. is seeking an Equipment Program Manager to lead the Worx program, industrial fluid maintenance, and related installation activities for customer sites.

You will bridge sales, application engineering, and R&D to deliver reliable equipment solutions that complement AMSOIL lubricants. You will manage multiple projects from design through delivery, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to drive value for

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer challenges with Application Engineering and Sales teams.
  • Coordinate design with suppliers for Worx units and related systems.
  • Develop value propositions and customer presentations.
  • Set QA standards and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate supply, maintenance, and warranty contracts with legal/sales.
  • Plan installation and coordinate on-site delivery.
  • Train customer personnel with Applications Engineering team.
  • Establish spare parts program with internal/third-party teams.
  • Maintain equipment maintenance protocols and software updates.
  • Share customer feedback with R&D and engineering teams.

A key strategic direction for AMSOIL is to create value for customers by selling a combination of lubricants and greases with symbiotic application equipment. To support the growth of this equipment business, we have created a new role as Equipment Program Manager and are currently looking fill this position.

AMSOIL currently offers two primary programs: 1. the Worx program, which include GreaseWorx, FluidWorx, and OilWorx - AMSOIL branded equipment to deliver greases, metalworking fluids and industrial lubricants respectively to robotics and other equipment at customer manufacturing sites; 2. fluid management systems and services designed to help customers optimize fluid performance and operating costs. These offerings may continue to evolve over time.

The role is a critical bridge between the sales team, application engineers, R&D, and the customer. As an emerging business it offers the opportunity for creativity, managing multiple projects at one time, project management skills and understanding of engineering design and financial implications to deliver customer value.

What you will own:

The Equipment Program Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the following:

  • Worx Program
  • Industrial Fluid Maintenance Program
  • Measuring Device Installation

Interactions with customers, internal collaborators (sales, R&D, applications engineers, finance, and other stakeholders), project management, understanding of finance, legal contracts are key. Applying creative skills to overcome challenges to be successful is critical and support is available from internal subject matter experts in various areas.

The primary activities involve:
Oversee Equipment Development Activities (30%)
  • Understand customer manufacturing challenges by working closely with the Application Engineering and Sales Teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to obtain quotations and coordinate the design of Worx units, fluid maintenance and delivery systems, and related equipment for managing AMSOIL-provided industrial fluids. Equipment may include storage tanks, fluid-level monitoring systems for inventory management and automated replenishment, filtration devices, oil separators, dehydrators, and other ancillary components. Identify additional equipment options—such as delivery pumps, sight glasses, and proportioners—that improve customer efficiency. This will require site visits to customers and vendors.
  • Work with finance, sales team and application engineers and assist in developing value propositions and presentations to customers.
  • Establish quality assurance standards from suppliers including initial calibration.
  • Establish necessary safety and regulatory requirements for equipment by collaborating with the vendors and internal technical teams to ensure that the equipment meets these standards.
  • Coordinate supply, maintenance, and warranty contracts with legal and sales teams.
Oversee Equipment Delivery and Installation (20%)
  • Establish plans for installation of equipment aligned with demand timelines.
  • Coordinate the delivery of equipment at customer locations by actively working with the Application Engineering team. This will require site visits.
  • Coordinate proper equipment set up and personnel training at customer locations by working closely with the Applications Engineering team.
Maintenance and ongoing support of Equipment (40%)
  • Establish a documented and spare parts program within AMSOIL and via coordination with third-party suppliers (MRO or service companies).
  • Coordinate with the Application Engineering team to implement documented equipment maintenance and service protocols including equipment calibration, periodic software updates.
Continuous Improvement (10%)
  • Streamline equipment and software updates at customer locations.
  • Share customer feedback on equipment reliability with AMSOIL R&D, Application Engineering, and Engineering teams to support solution development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost and quality.
Ancillary Activities
  • Integral to above are related activities such as regular management reporting, communicating challenges upfront, managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring budgets and quotes are available, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI), managing budgets, managing project timelines, and project milestones.
