Job summary

United Rentals in Louisville, KY, is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations by providing labor assistance to technicians, sales staff, and other personnel. You will help check, inspect, load/unload, and demonstrate equipment, while driving a delivery truck as needed to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Effective communication, multitasking, and teamwork.
• Strong safety focus and diligence.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
