United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to perform a variety of manual tasks and provide labor support to service technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel. You will help ensure smooth branch operation and assist with delivering and returning equipment to customers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong customer service, with opportunities for advancement through development programs. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 45 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Strong focus on safety and reliability.
• Customer service orientation is essential.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and proper operation.
• Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Load, unload and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment; operate a delivery truck as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
