Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Equipment Associate. You will perform manual tasks to support service technicians, sales staff and branch personnel, ensuring smooth branch operation and helping customers.

Key tasks include inspecting equipment, loading/unloading, delivering equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. This position is safety sensitive and offers strong benefits, training, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and proper working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck for pickup/drop-off.
• Other duties as needed.
