Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator to join our weekend distribution center team in Ohio. The role involves operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment, scanning orders with RF tools, and ensuring accurate staging and inventory control.

You will work Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts, with a weekend premium. A high school diploma and physical stamina are required, along with 1–2 years of relevant equipment experience and familiarity with distribution processes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs.
• Experience operating order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, sit-down tow motors, or rider pallet jacks (1–2 years).
• Ability to operate equipment up to 35 ft height.

Responsibilities

• Operate power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker).
• Use RF gun to select orders and put away product per system directions.
• Retrieve items for delivery/picking and staging inventory accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by moving products via RF transactions.
• Ensure merchandise integrity during movement from rack to dock and follow safety standards.

Job description

Description: Arhaus is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our weekend distribution center team! The reach truck / high-level stock picker is responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Equipment Operator is accountable for exercising care and precision in moving Arhaus products.

Weekend Shift Schedule

• Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts, 6:00AM to 6:30PM

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away - Operate power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker)
  • Use RF gun to select orders and put away product based on system directed order types
  • Retrieve all items for delivery / picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas
• Inventory - Maintain inventory accuracy levels by moving all product via RF transactions
• Package - Responsible for the integrity of the merchandise in movement from rack to dock damage free
• Safety - Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner based on company safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit down tow motor, or rider pallet jack
• The ability to operate equipment at a height potential of 35 ft.
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
