Job summary

Arhaus distribution center in Texas seeks dedicated team members to operate reach trucks and high-level stock pickers, moving and counting merchandise with care.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of equipment experience, lift 150 lbs, and be comfortable working at heights up to 35 ft. Day shift; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and on-site amenities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 150 lbs.
• 1–2 years' experience operating reach truck, cherry picker, order picker, sit-down tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
• Able to operate equipment up to 35 ft high.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Working knowledge of distribution/warehousing processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away merchandise using power equipment such as cherry picker, reach truck or high-level picker.
• Use RF gun to select orders and move product as directed.
• Retrieve items for delivery, picking and staging in assigned areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by moving product via RF transactions.
• Ensure merchandise integrity during movement from rack to dock and during packing.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per company safety standards.

Arhaus is looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our distribution center team! The reach truck / high-level stock picker is responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Equipment Operator is accountable for exercising care and precision in moving Arhaus products.

The reach truck / high-level stock picker is responsible for operating equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Equipment Operator is accountable for exercising care and precision in moving Arhaus products.

Day Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Pick and put away - Operate power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker)
• Use RF gun to select orders and put away product based on system directed order types
• Retrieve all items for delivery / picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas
• Inventory - Maintain inventory accuracy levels by moving all product via RF transactions
• Package - Responsible for the integrity of the merchandise in movement from rack to dock damage free
• Safety- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner based on company safety standards

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit down tow motor, or rider pallet jack
• The ability to operate equipment at a height potential of 35 ft.
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing, including order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
