Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Equipment Operator in Philadelphia to safely process inbound materials and manage refuse through our industrial disposal process. You will work on a team dedicated to safety, reliability, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating excavators, wheel loaders, and skid steers; consolidating dumped material on the tipping floor; performing site maintenance; and supporting mechanics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: excavator, wheel loader and skid steer
• Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor
• Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas
• Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention
• Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic
• Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
