Lumin8 Transportation Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator in Roanoke, VA to support traffic signal and transportation infrastructure projects. You will operate hydro-vac, bucket, crane, and other heavy equipment at job sites, perform inspections, and assist with supervision and training as needed.

The role requires the ability to read plans, maintain certifications, and adhere to safety standards; a valid CDL and physical capability for demanding outdoor work are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Eight years combined experience in grounds/labor/maintenance/construction and equipment operation.
• Ability to read plans and schematics.
• Must operate gas torches and power tools.
• Familiar with traffic signal wiring and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment at job sites such as bucket trucks, cranes, backhoes, and trenchers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Supervise and train subordinate employees as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Complete project paperwork and coordinate with customers and contractors.
