Shift Options: 7:00am start or 2:00pm start.

The Equipment Operator handles daily distribution activities, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include performing distribution tasks such as order filling, shipping, and receiving, with at least 60% of work involving forklift or PIT operations.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Operate powered lifting equipment (e.g., stock picker, sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach truck) for loading, unloading, and picking products.
2. Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping and safety practices.
3. Uphold the company’s core values.
4. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding tasks.
5. Contribute ideas for continuous process improvements.
6. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds infrequently.
• Successful completion of Office Depot Forklift Operator licensing.
• Flexible schedule ability.
• Prior forklift driving experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $18.00/hour, with compliance to local minimum wages. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and opportunities for career advancement.
