Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an experienced equipment operator to work on wind and renewable energy construction projects. You will operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery to perform earthwork, material handling, and site preparation.

The role requires adherence to safety policies, ability to read plans and operate multiple machines, and willingness to travel to various job sites. Competitive hourly wage and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Operates equipment and includes knowledge of equipment functions, running, navigating, detects or assesses problems, mechanical aptitude, and driving.
• May build level and/or extreme terrain and excavate land surfaces using various construction equipment listed.
• Drive and maneuver equipment with blades to level earth.
• Load dirt, stone, equipment, materials and waste onto trucks.
• Travel to different jobsites on limited notice.
