The Role
The Equipment Operator is capable of operating various pieces of equipment. This role must keep safety at the highest priority while monitoring daily production, quality control and ensuring upkeep and maintenance of the equipment. This position works under general supervision where routine duties are performed with minimal supervision. Standard practices or procedures allow the employee to proceed alone at routine work. There is an occasional check of work while in progress and work is reviewed upon completion. Good judgment and common sense is required in all duties and any other tasks assigned. Normal work hours are 7:00am until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday with work on weekends as needed. Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) as required. Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Three (3) to Five (5) years prior related experience required. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current North Carolina Driver’s License required.
