Town of Groton seeks a CDL-B licensed worker for groundskeeping and maintenance duties, with a workweek of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Candidates must read and follow procedures and safety directives.
Two years of related experience (or snowplow list) is required; must pass tests before end of probation; background checks and drug testing are required. Starting wage is $30.14/hour with a maximum of $38.46/hour, check deadline September 21, 2026.

STARTING RATE:
$30.14/hour
POSITION RANGE:
$30.14 - $38.46/hour
Ability to read and comprehend procedures, policies, documents and directives that are necessary to the safe performance of the job.
CDL - B license with two years work experience arising out of the voluntary snowplow list, or two years experience as a Groundskeeper or a Maintainer, or two years related experience in equipment operation; demonstrated ability to operate applicable equipment measured by passing of test prior to end of probationary period.
Must also obtain the following before end of probationary period: CDL-B tank endorsement (N).
