Minimum qualifications include 2–3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience, and a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tank Endorsement or the ability to obtain it within one year.

This position will primarily operate a variety of trucks and other highway equipment, involving plowing, salting and sanding roads in winter, and assisting in general highway maintenance and construction work in other seasons, with a focus on operation of basic to moderately complex trucks and equipment, as well as manual labor.
Minimum qualifications include: 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Possess a Class B Commercial Drive License (CDL) with Tank Endorsement or be able to acquire within 1-year of employment.
Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. This is a full-time position starting at $22.30 per hour with benefits that include health and dental insurance, optional comp time accrual, paid time off, and Vermont Municipal Employees Retirement System pension.
