Qualifications

• Valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions by first day of work.
• Cargo tank endorsement (N) by first day of work.
• Two years of relevant experience or one year of experience plus one winter season in a similar role.
• Military MOS substitutions (e.g., Truck Driver 88M, Horizontal Construction Engineer 12N, Pavements & Construction 3E2X1) may be substituted for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain highway signs and guardrails; perform snow/ice control.
• Perform building and ground maintenance and routine roadway/radio system maintenance.
• Complete minor preventive and repair maintenance on vehicles/equipment; manage paperwork (time records, reports).
• Report to work within 30 minutes for emergencies, including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
