Qualifications

• Valid ND Class A license with no air brake restrictions and cargo tank endorsement required by start date.
• Two years of relevant driving/operational experience or one year plus one winter operations season.
• For Equipment Operator I: valid ND Class B license without air brake restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform highway, roadway and structure maintenance.
• Install, repair and maintain highway signs and guardrails; clear roadways of hazards and debris.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment; complete required paperwork.
• Work under supervision during construction project duties and training.
• Maintain safety for self, coworkers and others on site.
