Job Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to support daily production and plant operations
- Assist the plant supervisor with daily plant maintenance and operations
- Inspect all areas of the plant for belt repairs, screen changes, bearing replacements, and other maintenance tasks
- Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed
- Identify safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, responding appropriately
- Follow directions accurately
- Work evenings and weekends as necessary
- Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures per MSHA and OSHA guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in operating large aggregate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
- Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred
- Adaptability to evolving project requirements, operational strategies, and safety regulations
- Deep understanding of MSHA regulations
- High school diploma or GED
