Job Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to support daily production and plant operations
• Assist the plant supervisor with daily plant maintenance and operations
• Inspect all areas of the plant for belt repairs, screen changes, bearing replacements, and other maintenance tasks
• Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed
• Identify safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, responding appropriately
• Follow directions accurately
• Work evenings and weekends as necessary
• Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures per MSHA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in operating large aggregate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
• Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements, operational strategies, and safety regulations
• Deep understanding of MSHA regulations
• High school diploma or GED
