Wonderful Citrus LLC in Delano, CA is hiring for an equipment operator responsible for setup and operation of electronic fruit sorting equipment, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensuring accurate grading and downtime documentation.

The role requires basic Windows skills (Excel/Word), ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work floor to stairs.

Competenze

• Must have intermediate computer skills in Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to perform light electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• English literacy; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Math skills including ratios and percentages.
• Quality control experience is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate the electronic fruit sorting equipment.
• Perform general equipment repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Fill-out downtime documentation efficiently
• Calibrate unit on a regular basis to ensure proper performance.
• Load equipment with film and mesh by lifting materials multiple times per shift
• Follow safety standards including fall protection when climbing above ground
• Other duties as assigned
